Young New England by Transit
In accordance with my pop punk and emo. pop punk ear I have taken a liking to the band Transit. Specifically this one song. Let’s hear some lyrics,
If you’re too drunk to walk alone the streets of cobblestone you know boston never drinks alone…
I carried you into your house…
I kept you until you slept
I walked down your stairs
With no regrets
How fuckin’ baller are those lyrics?! Shit man they preach the perfect ideology of getting some guy/girl you just met home safely and no taking advantage of them. That is some amazing shit right there. Not to mention it’s such classy tune. I mean let’s be honest here, when you listen to it you just can’t help but sing along to it. Go enjoy this shit to the full extent. -Zubin K.
Album: Young, Loved, Hated & Broke EP
So while I know I was away from this blog a lot because college is harder than a mother, D-Why released his newest EP. Holy shit is this EP good! Amazing. Pure amazing. Levels of awesome never known to mankind. In all honesty this was such a classy EP, a perfect blend of D-WHY’s genre folk-trap. This EP was way too good. Go get this shit on iTunes and enjoy it like now! -Zubin K.
P.S. - From my interactions on twitter, D-WHY seems like a really nice and down to Earth guy.
Hostage by Dangerkids
If you like me appreciate the styling of rapping and good screams mixed together much like the band Linkin’ Park then you’ll like the band Dangerkids. They’re fuckin’ awesome man. You listen to them and you think fuck yeah man this is some good shit right here. They recently signed to Rise Records and put out their “debut” album Collapse a couple months ago. Go enjoy them. -Zubin K.
Artist: Life On Repeat
The boys of LOR have pushed out their sophomore and final album. Unfortunately the guys have decided to disband after this album which is extremely heart breaking for fans who only ever wanted Equal Vision Records to promote LOR even more. Regardless, as I sat down and listened to the album my only thoughts were this, “Yep this is the LOR that I know and love so much.” Literally the band did an amazing job on this album and I hate to see them go, but alas they’ve made their bed. Enjoy the album anyways though. -Zubin K.
Feel Tonight by Divide By Friday
if you appreciate bands like Panic! At The Disco then you will definitely loved the band Divided By Friday. Their latest EP, Modern Memoirs EP, sounds much like P!ATD’s newest album. Alas, I don’t care because I like both bands just as much. Pretty solid music. Enjoy. -Zubin K.
P.S. - The band is signed to Hopeless Records.
Booyah by Showtek ft. We Are Loud and Sonny Wilson
So as we all know I’m very versatile when it comes to music and one of my favorite songs I’ve been listening to lately is the EDM track, Booyah. I really like the beat and the lyrics. It’s pretty solid. -Zubin K.
Yeah the blog is still runnin’ and being used. I just have become super busy with school and stuff and haven’t had time to post.
Legacy by D-WHY
Our boy D-WHY has been hittin’ the booth hard workin’ on his musical career. Gettin’ ready to drop his newest EP, “Young, Loved, Hated & Broke EP” D let out a knew single off of it and damn is this shit fire. I’m just waiting for Nov. 19 to listen to the entire album which’ll be straight amazing. Honestly, I love the way he references past works in the very beginning of the song. That’s the part that gets me the most.
Pain Is Temporary by D. Fields
So I haven’t checked up on D. Fields in a while just because there was this long hiatus from him making music so I guessed he quit the game. This motherfucker is out here though goin’ hard! Last night shit happened and this song is just a perfect pick me up from that. Scrolling through the YouTube comments I have yet to see a negative remark about this song. I can’t wait to hear more. Enjoy. -Zubin K.
Album: Oak Island EP

One For The Money by Escape The Fate
So it took a few months for me to find a song on the new ETF album for me to really dig it. I think that furthermore the announcement of the Bury The Hatchet tour made me take off some disease ridden blinders and give ETF w/ Craig Mabbitt a fighting chance. This song is I wanna say is the one that really made me like this album - given of course I did like the original ETF when Ronnie Radke was their front man. Alas, the feud is buried deep within the Earth and now the bands can play majestic shows for all of us to enjoy. Long live post-core music! -Zubin K.
Same Old War by Our Last Night
So blog favorite that went completely indie, OLN released a new single off of their upcoming EP Oak Island. Good god is this song amazing, it only serves to compliment the beauty that is OLN. The song comes from the work the band has put in after their indie gogo campaign. So this is from me to all the fans who helped with their campaign - thank you for keeping one of our favorite bands still in the recording studio. You’ve done the world a service. An amazing service. Now to just wait for Nov. 5, to roll around so we can get a hard copy of the EP or digital which ever floats your boat. -Zubin K.
